Summer Cocktail. Sundresses, button-downs, or anything a little nicer than everyday wear. The ceremony is outdoors, and the reception is in the Barn, so leave the stilettos and dress shoes with no grip at home.
If your invitation includes a guest by name then yes, we’d love to have them join. If not, we’re keeping the wedding on the smaller side and are only able to include those listed on the invite. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out, we’re happy to clarify.
Yes! This is a family-friendly weekend and so long as they’re invited, we’d love to see your little ones there.
Jackson is very dog-friendly, and most hotels, including Whitney’s, allow pets. You’re welcome to bring your dog for the weekend if your lodging permits it. That said, we kindly ask that you do not bring dogs to the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception. Our dog, Harvey, will be part of the ceremony, but since animals can be unpredictable, we want to keep the event calm, focused, and stress-free for everyone. Thanks for understanding and for keeping the guest list to the humans.
The most convenient option is The Inn at Whitney’s, where the ceremony and reception will take place (and where we’re staying too). If that fills up or you're looking for other options, check out Whitney’s sister properties, which are all within five minutes: Christmas Farm Inn & Spa: just up the hill, with both indoor and outdoor pools, spa services, and The Backyard restaurant and Mistletoe Pub. The Inn at Thorn Hill: located roughly 2 miles away; an adult‑only retreat featuring fine wine, porch dining, and a quieter, more intimate vibe. All three properties share amenities: indoor/outdoor pools, restaurants, pubs, and more, with a complimentary shuttle that links them together.
Yes, there’s free parking right on-site at the Inn at Whitney’s.
Absolutely! We’ll have appetizers, dinner, drinks and dessert. Come hungry!
Days are usually mild, nights can get cool, 70s by day, 50s at night. Layers are your friend, especially if you’re hanging out by the fire or staying out late.
We’d love for everyone to just be in the moment with us. Our photographer will be capturing everything, so no need to worry about taking photos, just relax and enjoy the ceremony. We'd love for you to take as many pictures as you'd like during every other part of the weekend!
We don’t have a traditional registry. Your presence is truly the greatest gift to us. If you’d like to give something, we’d be grateful for anything that supports our future together.
Let us know when you RSVP and we’ll make sure you’re all set.
We’re planning a casual Monday morning drop-in breakfast at J-Town Deli between 9 am and 10 am. It’s nothing formal and everyone would cover their own breakfast, but if you’re still in town, we’d love to see you before the weekend wraps up.
