When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by Saturday, August 10th so that we can confirm our final head count with our vendors.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We'll be having our Welcome Party on O'Leary's Tiki Bar and Grill on Friday, October 11th for guests who get into town early. We'll be there from 7-11pm, but people can come by at any point. There is food and drinks available for purchase there.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire. This can include wearing a suit, dress shirt with tie, and any length of dresses. We encourage wearing colors and clothing that will be comfortable for an outdoor Florida wedding!

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, due to our capacity restrictions, we can only accommodate named plus ones (included in invitations) at the moment.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Many guests are planning to stay at the Kompose Hotel, which is a boutique hotel that's a 5-minute drive from the venue. We currently offer three hotel blocks: Hilton Garden Inn Sarasota-Bradenton Airport, Hampton Inn & Suites Sarasota-Bradenton Airport, and the Ramada by Wyndham Sarasota Waterfront. You can learn more in the "Travel" section and book directly through our room block links there. There are many other hotels within a ten-minute drive of the venue, and great other options in the greater Sarasota area, such as downtown Sarasota, Bradenton, and the nearby Keys.

Is there parking at the Powel Crosley Estate?

Answer

Yes! There is a free parking lot at the Powel Crosley Estate- all guests who are planning on driving are welcome to use it.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely- when you RSVP in the "RSVP" section, there is a section to indicate any allergies and dietary restrictions. Our caterers will ensure that your food is prepared according to that information, and the wait staff will verify any dietary restrictions on the day of as well.

Do I have to choose my meal ahead of time?

Answer

No, you don't! At the wedding, waiters will come up to each table and ask which entree option you prefer most.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar with wine, beer, and various types of liquor available. There will be Prosecco upon arrival, and then the bar will be open from 5-9:30pm.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there is a shuttle service between the Hilton Garden Inn and the Powel Crosley Estate that guests are able to use. The first shuttle departs from the Hilton Garden Inn at 3:50pm, and the second departs at 4pm. At the end of the wedding, the shuttle will return to the hotel at 10pm. If any guests wish to depart earlier than 10pm, they can call the hotel and one will arrive based on availability. Guests staying at other nearby hotels or AirBNBs are able to drive, walk, or use ridesharing services that are common in the area.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, this is a kid-friendly wedding! All invited children are included in wedding invitations.

Are you having an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is going to be unplugged, and we ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. You're welcome to take pictures during our reception!

Will your wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Unless it rains, our ceremony will be outdoors on the lawn of our venue. Our cocktail hour and reception will give guests the option to be indoors or outdoors, though the dinner will be held outside.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In October, the weather will range from the high 60s to the mid 80s in Sarasota.
