Answer

On the northeast shore of Lake Tahoe, far away from Las Vegas. Fly into the Reno Tahoe International Airport and it's a 45-minute drive to Incline Village. The north shore of Lake Tahoe contains, from east to west, Incline Village and Crystal Bay, Nevada and then crosses over to Kings Beach and Tahoe City, California.

Answer

In late September, Lake Tahoe is typically mild and sunny although anything is possible. Average daytime temps range from mid 60s to mid 70s and nighttime temps down to 30s and 40s. Again, anything is possible including precipitation, wind, and more. The key is to dress in layers, have a jacket/ sweater/ shawl handy. Bring sun and shade protection and comfortable walking shoes as well if you want to participate in some outdoor activities while you're here.
