Absolutely!!
The welcome party and wedding ceremony will be outdoors, but the cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.
For the welcome party, you are welcome to wear tasteful red, white, and blue but not required. Please dress similarly to how you would for a summer date night. (Mini to midi length dresses, rompers, blouse and shorts, etc.) (Short sleeve button ups or polo shirts and khaki shorts, etc.). See attire inspiration photo (top of this page) for a launching off point. Also, keep in mind that it will be summer and there will be some lawn games, so make sure you are comfortable moving around in whatever you wear. Please dress comfortably for all weather, as the welcome party will be outdoors and will happen rain or shine.
For the wedding, please wear colorful formal/cocktail attire, basically just err on the dressier side of cocktail attire. (Floral prints, summery solid colors, fun accessories, jumpsuits, and midi or maxi length dresses, etc.) (A suit and tie, etc.). See attire inspiration photo (top of this page) for a launching off point. The ceremony will be outside on a lawn, so maybe rethink the stiletto heels. Please dress comfortably for all weather, as the ceremony will be outdoors and we will be getting married rain or shine. Oh, and wear your dancing shoes! ;)
There will be a shuttle bus available to transport guests from the hotel blocks to the ceremony and from the ceremony to the reception. The bus will leave at the following times/locations, so please be ready on time. Pickup Times (Hotels to Ceremony): 3:10pm - Best Western Premier Park Hotel 3:20pm - Madison Concourse Hotel & Governor’s Club Pickup Time (Ceremony to Reception): 4:30pm - Allen Centennial Garden, immediately following ceremony If you’d rather drive, there are also nearby parking garages at both the ceremony (Observatory Drive Ramp) and reception (Overture Center Garage) locations.
Folks in the wedding party will be wearing sophisticated primary colors (muted red, yellow, and blue). Feel free to wear whatever color you’d like to the wedding, but we ask that you refrain from all white!
