Happy 4th of July! We will kick off the wedding weekend with a party at the park, including lawn games, etc. There's no better way to hang out than a day in the sun with cold drinks in hand and a little friendly competition. Lunch and some cold non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. Please bring your own alcoholic beverages if you'd like them, but keep in mind that there is NO GLASS ALLOWED at the park. Welcome party schedule is subject to change.
4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
The ceremony will be outdoors, rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. (The entrance to the garden is on the Babcock Dr side). Free weekend parking is available across the street at the university-affiliated "Observatory Drive Ramp" (Steenbock Ramp, 1645 Observatory Dr, Madison, WI 53706). The ramp is also known as Lot 36. There will be a shuttle bus transporting guests from the hotel blocks to the ceremony. See the “Travel” page for pickup times/locations.
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Drinks and light bites will be served indoors. The Overture Center is 2 blocks away from the hotels we have room blocks at, and ample parking is available at nearby parking garages (Overture Center Garage is recommended). There will be a shuttle bus transporting guests from the ceremony to the reception immediately following the ceremony. See the “Travel” page for pickup times/locations.
7:00 pm - 11:45 pm
Please join us for dinner and dancing indoors. Make sure to bring your dancing shoes! The Overture Center is 2 blocks away from the hotels we have room blocks at, and ample parking is available at nearby parking garages (Overture Center Garage is recommended).
