We met in 2017 in Nashville. We dated for 3 months but broke up due to long distance when his plans to move there fell through.

We reconnected in 2020 and when Joey found out I lived in Colorado, where he had been applying for jobs, we agreed to meet up if he had an interview here.

We bonded over pizza, whiskey, beer, and mountains in Breckenridge.

The pandemic hit hard, and my school went to remote learning, which meant I could teach from Florida, and our relationship flourished.

We went to Kennedy Space Center that December.

My whole family loved him right away.

My Christmas present to Joey was tickets to Universal to visit the most magical place.

Joey and I then dated long distance when I had to return to Denver to teach in January.

We decided to travel whenever he visited- this is us in Crested Butte/ Gunnison in January.

When he returned to Florida, he had flowers delivered to me.

Breakfast food is sort of our thing. This was in Florida.

Joey got a job and moved to Denver in spring of 2021

We made it official! August 7th, 2021.

Joey knows I have a Halloween heart and has slowly been developing his own.

Joey bought me the most gorgeous pearl and emerald earrings for valentine's day. I will be wearing them on our wedding day.

We moved in together in the summer of 2022 to Arvada.

We never want to leave Arvada.

We learned that we love Oktoberfest!

I graduated from CU Denver with my Master's Degree in Culturally Responsive Literacy Education

My momma lived with us for a while and was able to watch me graduate!

We're also big Christmas people

We said goodbye to my old car Viktor, and got our new one, Mrs. Weasley.. or as I like to call her, my Mollywobbles

We took our first camping trip to Telluride! It was gorgeous but we learned that we're more "hotel people."

We learned that we love candlelight concerts! We saw a Zelda concert here!

On December 29th, 2023 we were on our way home from that Florida Christmas, we stopped in Nashville, at Centennial park where we met in 2017, and he proposed.

Upon me saying yes, Lady rolled onto her back and demanded belly rubs

In April of 2024 we adopted a brother for Lady, named Sullivan, whom I call, Sully-Wooly

We had eaten at Waffle House with Jessica before the proposal so we now associate Waffle House with our relationship
