Maid of Honor

Taylor is Kendra's younger sister. Kendra and Taylor have been through thick and thin together, and despite their very different personalities the two remain the closest of sisters. Taylor is an athlete, performer, and lover of animals, whose vibrant personality and sharp-wit could pull a smile out of anyone. We couldn’t imagine not having her standing by Kendra's side on our wedding day.

Samuel

Best Man

Samuel is Joel's younger brother. A passionate thespian and tabletop wargaming enthusiast, Samuel is also a loving husband and new father. Joel and Samuel have shared so many good things, from childhood adventures in the forest where they grew-up, to karate classes and musical-theatre performances in their teens, to collaborative storytelling through tabletop role-playing-games in their twenties. We could think of no better person to have at Joel's side on this, the best of days.

Hannah

Bride's Party

Hannah is Joel's sister, and a huge inspiration for both of us. An accomplished instructor of fitness and body-building competitor, Hannah is also a new mother! Her independence, intelligence, and drive to achieve her goals have given us so much to aspire to. It is thanks to Hannah's encouragement and support that Joel was able to revise his proposal plans mid-pandemic, allowing us to celebrate this magical day with all of you. We are eternally grateful, and delighted that she will be standing with us on our special day!

Paxton

Groom's Party

Paxton is our dear friend of over 10 years. A brilliant world-builder and maker of artisanal resin dice, Paxton was one of the original members of the creative-writing group that brought us together, and has been adventuring with us in worlds of science-fiction and fantasy for many years. Though life has led us to distant places, we have remained close friends, and Paxton's creativity and enthusiasm have been a constant light in both our lives. We couldn't be happier to have them with us on our special day!

Naomi

Bride's Party

Our dear friend and confidant of many years. Naomi and Joel met in their teens as fellow karate students, and have remained close friends for nearly 15 years. Naomi would later join our creative-writing group, and continues to be an avid writer to this day, having seen their short works published in several science-fiction magazines. Through shared joys and personal hardships, the three of us have been there for each other, caring, supporting, and lifting each other up in the worst of times. We couldn't imagine our wedding day without them.

Kirsten

Groom's Party

Kirsten came to us through Naomi, their partner and fiancee. An avid history buff, with a love for good wine, gourmet food, and a passion for teaching, Kirsten's liveliness and candor have brightened our lives ever since they joined our tabletop role-playing group in 2015. In 2019 we had the honour of witnessing their proposal to Naomi, and we are awaiting their wedding day almost as eagerly as our own! We look forward to celebrating our wedding with Kirsten at our side.

Kate

Bride's Party

Kate and Kendra met in middle-school band-club. Initially bonding over a mutual interest in books, and later sharing a socials class in high-school, the two became inseparable. Hundreds of inside jokes, incomprehensible quotes, and a deep attachment that has endured through the many hurdles of adulthood. Kate met Joel through the community theatre, where they performed together in many musical productions, and it was Kate who first introduced Kendra and Joel to one another. Without Katie, we might never have met, and we're so excited to have her with us on this special day!

Celestina will be ensuring the day goes smoothly so we don't have to worry over the little details.
