Is there transportation to and from The Farm at High Shoals wedding venue?

Answer

Complimentary shuttle service to and from The Farm at High Shoals will be provided for wedding guests at three pick-up locations downtown - Hotel Indigo, Hilton Garden Inn, and Spring Hill Suites. Pickup Schedule: Bus 1: 3:45 PM pickup at Spring Hill Suites 3:55 PM pickup at Hilton Garden Inn *bus will depart no later than 4:05 PM from Hilton Garden Inn Buses 2&3: 3:45 PM pickup at Hotel Indigo **buses will depart no later than 4:05 PM Return Trip: All buses will depart from The Farm at High Shoals at 10:45 PM and will drop off at the downtown hotels. Return details: When the reception ends, the buses will depart The Farm at High Shoals around 10:40-10:45 PM and will drop guests off at the Hotel Indigo and Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Athens. Uber and Lyft are also available in Athens, as well as local taxis. If you do plan on driving, there are plenty of parking spots available on site for personal vehicles - however, they must be picked up the next morning by 9 AM.

Are there any organized events on the day after the wedding celebration (Saturday, 10/9)?

Answer

There are no organized events the day after the wedding, but we plan on hanging out in Athens and watching the UGA at Auburn (away) football game downtown. We'd love to have our friends and family join us to enjoy some fun, food, and football!!

COVID 19 Updates

We will be following CDC, local, and vendor guidelines/mandates at all wedding events to keep the safety of our guests and vendors the top priority. Where should we stay? How close are all of the downtown hotels?

Answer

All of the hotels are within 0.5 mile of each other (5-6 blocks at most). Downtown is very walkable! Please stay at your hotel of choice - especially if you are a loyalty member. Earn those points!! We have blocks at all of the hotels listed in the travel section of our website.
