Mother of the Bride
A woman who has seen it all and has come out strong, she is the example of a woman I'd be lucky enough to become when I am a mother. She has been with me through thick and thin and even when I didn't have any girlfriends around to have a shoulder to cry on, strong advice when ended, or even just a reality check, my mother Maria will be walking down the aisle with our party on this momentous occasion.
Father of the Bride
From my big accomplishments like my quinceaƱera, high school graduation, and first year of college, my Papi has been there by my side as my #1 supporter. Having been his only daughter, the significance of every major life event has been special to him, and I can proudly say that he will be walking me (the bride), down the aisle on our special day! Without my dad being there as my 'first love' when I was young, I wouldn't have made the best decision in my life by marrying Gabriel.
Mother of the Groom
A mother's blessing is the ultimate sign of "the right one". Through all that my mom has sacrificed for me, if she is willing to give me over to someone with her blessing then I know I have found the right one. My teacher and my guide, my mom has always toiled to ensure the greatest life for my brothers and I. She dealt with our best and worst times, instructed as our teacher through our teen years, and ensured our home was warm and welcoming. The respect and kindness she gave everyone is how I knew someone should be. Seeking to be that, I found my other half who reciprocated those values.
Father of the Groom
My role model for what it means to be a man as well as an model husband. I've learned many things from my father through the years, but my greatest takeaway was how to love. He is never unfair and always gives all he can give. He is always patient, never letting anything get the better of him. He taught me how God wants us to love our special someone. Without this lesson, Lyn and I would not have made at as far as we have. He and my mom were the earliest believers in me. I am proud to say I hope to be just like him.
Maid of Honor
Having been friends since Sophmore year in highschool, it didn't take long for the two of us to become close friends from then on! From helping me out on my terrible days, to inspiring me to pursue a higher education again, I couldn't have asked a better person to be my Maid of Honor. On the day of the wedding, she'll be my second in command. (Congrats on your Bachelors my love!)
Best Man
My knuckleheaded brother. The middle-man, I've known him his whole life. In anything we did, my brothers were always there. Aaron has always been the reasonable and rational one. Even if doesn't show much affection, he has a heart of gold and cares for all of his family (including all of his nearly dozen chickens). He has known Lyn as long as I have and was really the first to welcome her to our family to feel like a part of it. Lyn and him fight all the time, but it somehow always done with in a smile and a hug.
Bridesman
From being my first friend in my 1st year of high school, to becoming my Bridesman, Damian has been there for me in many occasions big and small. Being a constant in my life has been such a blessing for me and I'm glad I have such an amazing best friend to accompany me on our big day.
Groomsman
Dry humor is his game. He may be the littlest in age, but with his height he could dunk basketballs on any of us. I remember my littlest brother's first everything, and he was always a little on the goofy side. Adventurous is the perfect word to describe Julian. He loves the outdoors and has a cowboy's heart. He draws the world as he sees it, full of life. He'll always be there for us brothers and we can count on his thoughtfulness always.
Bridesman
A dear friend since highschool for Lyn, and a great first meet for Gabriel, Victor has seen Gabe and Lyn's relationship grow with the years gone by. He was there for the first time Gabriel had come to California and was amazing in helping to be his next friend and give a beautiful tour of the area along with Lyn's friend, Denise. Anytime he comes into town for a visit, it's almost tradition to catch up with him at least once to keep in touch of such a valuable friend. The couple are so proud of him and cannot wait to congratulate him in his (soon to be finished) degree!
Groomsman
Christian is the glue of our friend group. Gabriel and Lyn have known Christian for longer than eachother. He has been our earliest supporter as a friend and has been here to see it all. He, Aaron, and Julian regularly travel together and find new trouble to get themselves into. Friend of the family and close to all of the Kids, his wittiness is missed when he isn't in the mix. The group wouldn't have nearly had its wacky cohesion without Christian, and for that we all love him dearly.
Honor Attendant
Cris has been an excellent and dear friend to us for years. He often accompanies Gabriel on his outings and troublemaking around town but has also been a great help through college. It is funny because he and Gabriel are essentially the same person from their interests to their mannerisms. He cares so much for both of us and is one of the first people there when we need anything. We are absolutely honored to have him be with us on this most momentous occasion.
