In lieu of a traditional rehearsal dinner, we are opening our Saturday evening dinner to all guests who at the camp that day. After dinner, there will be a Havdalah service at sunset to mark the end of Shabbat. Please RSVP to this event if you are planning on attending so that we have an accurate headcount for Saturday night.

We will be holding our ceremony on the beach. This is will be a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony lead by the Rabbi of our shul in Reno. For those who have never attended a Jewish wedding before and would like to know what to expect during the ceremony, please see the FAQ page for more information. Seating will be plastic folding lawn chairs on sand. If you need any additional seating accommodations, please let us know via text/email ASAP.

A traditional German log cutting ceremony to follow immediately after the ceremony. The log will be in the couple's path to the yichud room and their cutting it down symbolizes them overcoming their first obstacle together as a team.

Open floor time for people who would like to toast to the couple followed by a dad joke competition to be judged by the wedding party. Prizes will be given out to all participants in the end.

We will be playing traditional klezmer music for us all to dance to and, of course, we will do the hora! Modern music to follow after the couple has successfully landed back on their feet!
