Wine Tasting
Temecula Valley Wine Country spans more than 33,000 acres – the largest viticultural area in Southern California – yet is one of the state’s best kept secrets. First planted in 1968, the region is now home to nearly 50 wineries, from boutique to large-production, rustic to modern. Hit the beaches, grab a craft beer, and enjoy all that San Diego has to offer! Here are a few of our favorite things to do in our city: - Beaches: La Jolla is great for walking around and seeing sea life. Mission/Pacific Beach boardwalk is our favorite for walking along and enjoying the surf/sand. - Breweries: #78 Corridor (Hop Highway) or Miramar Rd both offer plenty of breweries to try. Our favorite is Burgeon. - Entertainment: Check out a Padres Baseball game, and the #1 ballpark in baseball! The San Diego Zoo offers a fun up close experience with lots of critters. The Gaslamp & Little Italy distract are JJ & Kristen's favorite for dining & nightlife. One of their favorite restaurants is Civico 1845.
Orange County
Heading up North? Check out Kristen's hometown and all there is to do: Entertainment: Disneyland is the biggest attraction in OC. Grab a ticket for the parks to wander through Downtown Disney, Main Street, & Buena Vista Street. The Packing House is an old converted building with a bunch of cool restaurants! Newport Beach is JJ & Kristen's favorite for bar hopping and having a night on the town. Check out an Angels Baseball game and root for the home team! Beaches: Huntington Beach offers expansive, spread out beaches to explore. Laguna Beach is a fun beach town to explore and check out the shops. Newport Beach is a great one to rent a bike, check out the Balboa Island Ferry, or walk the boardwalks!
