When should I RSVP?

Answer

If you are booking a space in our villa, Casa de Luz, we need a RSVP and room confirmation from you and your party by the end of May. We'll then send out an invoice right after. In general, please RSVP as soon as possible. It'll help us make sure that everyone and their needs are accounted for! We want to make you as comfortable as possible because we realize the amazing effort needed to come join us for our special event!

How will booking a bed in Casa de Luz work?

Answer

Once we get final confirmation from all people who are interested in staying in the villa with us. We will, then, be able to figure out the cost per person since it is dependent on how many people will stay. (Between $65-$90 per person, per night.) Then, we will email each of you or each set of party a money request through Chase Zelle (which works with all major banks) with a due date attached.

Is there still room in Casa de Luz?

Answer

We are filled up! Those of you who have booked at the villa will get an email from us with confirmation and details. If you will not be at the villa, then please visit the Fly and Stay page to see other options for places to stay.

How long do we have the villa?

Answer

The entire villa is booked from August 16 - August 20. We are arriving in the afternoon on the 16, then will stay to check out after everyone leaves on the 20. You're welcome to find another place to stay to extend your vacation!

When's the best time to buy flight tickets?!

Answer

Our search has brought up the average: 4-2 months before the flight date is the best time to buy flight tickets. Today's flights search (3/23) has yielded flight tickets ranging up from $435 dollars.

How do I find flights?

Answer

Everyone has their own tricks and preferences for finding the best flights. Here are some suggestions to find the best one for you: Airline search engines: Justfly.com (our favorite) Skyscanner.com (second favorite) Kayak.com Tripadvisor.com Airline specific flights: (These flights won't show up on search engines, so you need to search directly on their websites.) Southwest.com Spirit.com FlyFrontier.com Tips: - Do you have mileage points from a credit card or frequent flyer miles? - Check all airports within a 2 hour radius. Sometimes, an airport farther away will have a better deal. - Split up your flights. If a flight is cheaper from a bigger city that's farther from you, find a cheap flight to that city, then book a flight to CR from there. You'll have to buy two or three flights but the savings may be worth it.
