Amy met Jenny at birth, not that she remembers or had a choice. She is Glenn’s biggest contender for Jenny’s attention and has an impeccable track record for winning. Often at her own expense, Amy is a wonderful source of comic relief to everyone around her and Jenny in particular. Amy’s favorite pastime with Jenny include mispronouncing words purposely, conversing in grunts and arguing in ancient Chinese drama language. Growing up Jenny was Amy’s Instagram producer, today Amy has been promoted to become Jenny’s wedding producer.
Lana Zhang
Bridesmaid
Lana is Jenny’s punk in crime. They have been family too long to remember how or when they actually met but it was likely SAT prep class in third grade. They grew up doing everything together from Chinese dance to tennis to singing the bus ride home. Lana is a serious Chipotle addict and boba-holic. You may find her high off water or air or life in general at the party...or trying to kidnap your puppy.
Joyce Yu
Bridesmaid
Joyce and Jenny met in high school where they have been conjoined at the hip ever since. Joyce is an incredible teacher, an amazing artist and one of the kindest people Jenny knows. Her only weakness is everything cute as evidenced by the dozens of plushy passengers in her car and the collection of pink puff balls in Simpson’s Pokédex. Even though Joyce and Jenny are both hitched now, they will always have one hip for each other.
Christina Xiong
Bridesmaid
Christina and Jenny met at NYU with not the best of first impressions but became Jenny’s closest and longest roommate. She introduced Jenny to the first wine Jenny knows by name and her go-to choice, Moscato D’asti. Christina is very bubbly and approachable. As the resident 神经病小姐, she served as a strong bonding force and comic relief for the apartment. If you find a bridesmaid giggling about nothing in particular, chances are it will be her.
