After several delays, we are excited to finally invite you to celebrate with us on September 12, 2021. Thank you for your support during this time and we look forward to finally celebrating with everyone!

Glenn wants to tell it like Crazy Rich Asians but Jenny says the commonalities end at crazy. The more realistic and less exciting version is they met through a mutual friend in Singapore during Jenny’s NYU study abroad program at a prawning event. Prawning is like fishing but for shrimp. The group that went together failed so hard. The four of them caught a whopping total of 3 shrimp, two of which were caught by the staff who probably couldn’t bear to watch anymore. It was love at first sight for Glenn watching Jenny getting chased around by people holding tiny little shrimp squealing. In Jenny’s defense she really didn’t want to torture the poor shrimp: tweeze off its pincers, skewer it, and put it over the grill alive. And so that set the stage for Glenn’s enjoyment for making Jennh squeal forevermore.

Here on this happy occasion, we only talk about success stories. In the success version, Glenn finally enlisted help from Jenny’s friends. They came to Cleveland from all over and worked all night to blow up balloons and plan the surprise. Meanwhile, Amy was sent as the lone undercover agent. Her mission was to distract Jenny and get her to come to the designated location dressed up. Amy was doing amazingly well at not being shifty until they arrived onsite. Upon arrival, Amy seemed so preoccupied that Jenny guessed something was up. Unlike the usual propsal with friends hiding and popping out afterwards, the friends walked down the path one by one holding a balloon with Glenn being the last one to walk down. So even though Jenny guessed at the very last minute, she didn’t foresee all the friends that came and that they would show up first. In the end their friends were the surprise.
