Old Rag Mountain is part of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The peak is located within Shenandoah National Park and is the most popular hiking destination within the park. The hike is a 8 mile loop with lots of rock scrambles. Make sure to get an early start to avoid the crowds, believe or not there are traffic jams along the hike. Pack a light lunch to enjoy while enjoying the view. The address above takes you to the parking lot. The national park's parking lot is free but fills up very quickly, directly next door is a private parking lot for $10.
Luray Caverns, originally called Luray Cave, is a cave just west of Luray, Virginia, United States, which has drawn many visitors since its discovery in 1878. The cavern system is generously adorned with speleothems such as columns, mud flows, stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, and mirrored pools.
