Love works in mysterious ways! What started out as two mostly strangers agreeing to carpool to an out of town funeral turned into the best non first date ever! On our trip to and from Long Island, we had a chance to talk a lot and get to know each other. The car ride went quickly and the conversation was easy. Jim was so distracted, he was in the wrong lane in Delaware and ended up in Philadelphia instead of on the New Jersey Turnpike! We eventually arrived at our destination and set out to find food after 11pm. We stumbled across a dive, Del's Bar and Grill, and decided to go in. A couple of beers and a few chicken tenders later we realized it was after 3am! Conversation was so easy and enjoyable. When we returned home from our adventure two days later, Jim looked at Caroline and said "I've really enjoyed being with you. You made me smile and you made me laugh, I haven't done a lot of that lately". . Here we are two years later, still making each other smile, still making each other laugh. Can't think of a better way to spend the rest of our lives!
