FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab here on our website and type in your last name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as "will attend" or "will not attend." We ask that you kindly RSVP by April 3, 2026.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by April 3, 2026, you will be marked as "will not attend." We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs.

Question

What if I RSVP "attending" and then can't make it to the wedding?

Answer

You will be missed! Life happens, no worries. Please let the bride, groom, or parents know as soon as possible that you will no longer be in attendance.

Question

Where is the venue?

Answer

The venue is Candlebrook Farms at 3269 Ferry Road, Bellbrook, OH. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the same location. There is plenty of parking (although it's gravel) and is handicap accessible. https://candlebrookfarms.com/

Question

Who will be at the celebration?

Answer

If you know us, you know we have very large families and a diverse group of friends. We were raised to be inclusive and loving of everyone and have carried that with us into every facet of our lives. We ask that you respect every guest at the wedding, despite having differing world views, nationalities, skin color, orientations, and religions. Our hope is that you meet someone new and make a lasting connection on our special day!

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

We ask for grace for a no answer to this question. Our venue has a specific guest capacity and with our large families and our close friends on our list, we have to request only those who received and are named on the invitation attend the celebration. We look forward to spending the day with you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our venue has a specific guest capacity and although we love your kiddos, this will be an adults-only celebration with only the bride's immediate family children attending.

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

We are both casual and our venue and celebration reflects our laid back lifestyle. Please wear something comfortable as the ceremony will be outdoors (rain or shine), perhaps in the blue and yellow scheme wedding colors. We do ask for no jeans, tshirts, shorts (ladies shorts in a suit ensemble for example are just fine) or white outfits; think sun dresses/jumpsuits/blouses, or skirts/trousers and khakis/dress pants and collared shirts.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.

Question

Is your ceremony unplugged?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to be present with us during the ceremony by eliminating the use of phones and cameras. The experience of our celebration is best seen without the filter of a screen. This will also allow our professional and experienced photographer, Charley, capture all those beautiful shots with your smiling faces without distractions. This is also a contractual obligation so please keep all electronic devices in your purse or pocket, turn off the ringer, or turn it off completely. Thank you for understanding and helping us create an unforgettable experience! The rest of the evening, snap away and make sure to add your photos to our shared album with the QR code available at your table.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

There is a covered pavilion for the ceremony onsite in case of rain, but be sure to bring an umbrella to get from the parking lot to the pavilion. The cocktail hour has a covered porch and the reception is inside, so not to worry about being in the rain for too long. We’re making sure to order good weather for the day though!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The couple will be receiving guests at the ceremony location immediately following the service. Please stay seated until you are excused. Guests are asked to then head to the cocktail hour on the back porch of the venue building for drinks, games, cigars, a special appetizer (vegetarian option available), and of course music! The couple will meet you at cocktail hour to once again greet you and enjoy your company.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have a selection of bottled beer, seltzers, wine, a signature bourbon cocktail, and a signature rum cocktail as well as non-alcoholic beverage options. All free for your enjoyment.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

Your taste buds will soar with the help of our caterer, The Amber Rose! We have a special cocktail hour appetizer for everyone and dinner will include a buffet with choices of chicken and pork, with four vegetarian friendly sides, salad, and bread. Dessert options to end the meal is courtesy of Cram Your Cakehole and another local bakery store.

Question

Where’s the After Party?

Answer

You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here! If you’re still in the mood for celebrating after the reception ends, head over to Adrienne’s White Rabbit Lounge at 889 S. Main Street Centerville, OH 45458. This is a local hangout, cozy, with a fun clientele and employees. Most importantly, reasonably priced drinks. Open until 2:30 am and we told them you’re coming! It’s about 5 miles/10 minutes from the venue. Please be safe and designate a driver or call an Uber/Lyft.

Question

I can't find what I'm looking for.

Answer

If you have any additional questions that are not listed or answered on this page, please feel free to reach out directly to the bride, groom, or parents!
