I'm Staying At The Villa. Should I Plan My Own Meals?

Answer

We're so glad you could stay with us! We will provide a simple breakfast & coffee each morning, as well as a casual welcome dinner on Saturday, September 21st. We invite our house guests to join us in Lucca the following day to collectively shop for fresh ingredients, local favorites, and plenty of beverages to last us throughout the week. We look forward to cooking together in the gourmet kitchen and sharing meals in the lemon house.

Whilst we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event.

Should We Rent a Car?

Answer

Totally your choice. There are a few days throughout the week that are "free days" where you may want a car to explore the area. You also may want more flexibility in when you come/go to places. We will add links for rental options in the travel section.

We understand that it is a lot to ask of everyone to take the time to travel to celebrate with us. Your presence is all the gifts we need.

Should I Start Booking My Flights Or Accommodations?

Answer

Yes, please do! We recommend tracking flights now and purchasing when you feel comfortable. Please note - train tickets have assigned seats and will fill up. We recommend booking in advance. For guests staying nearby, Lucca is the nearest city to the Villa. Villa Valgiano is located at 12 Via San Pietro-Sant 'Andrea, Capannori, Tuscany 55012, Italy.

Is There Parking Available at the Venue?

Answer

There are around five free parking spaces at the Villa and free parking nearby on the street. We recommend coordinating with other arriving guests to share a car and offset any rental fees. Alternatively, Vespas are a quick and affordable option to get around!
