East & West Proctor
If you like Thai or Vietnamese food, this small, family-owned joint uses fresh ingredients (some grown in their own garden!) for some delicious dishes. Nothing fancy, not too expensive, always hits the spot.
The Grand Cinema
If you're looking to fill an afternoon or evening, there's nothing quite like sipping a glass of wine or beer while enjoying a quality independent film. This little cinema always has an excellent selection and the small theater is cozy.
Point Ruston
Point Ruston is a relatively new collection of shops, bars, and restaurants at the end of Ruston Way. Walk along the waterfront and enjoy the many amenities this area has to offer, there's almost always something for everybody. Farellis, Stack 571, and Ice Cream Social are some of our personal favorites, or just play outside by the water.
Dash Point State Park
Hiking trails right behind the bride's parents' house take you through the state park, past campgrounds, to the Dash Point beach. A childhood spot for Jill that overlooks the bay where Andrew learned to sail.
Uncorked Canvas
Jill's place of work since July 2017! If you've ever wanted to give painting a try (and enjoy sipping beer or wine), register for a class online and go home with your own masterpiece. It's likely Jill won't be teaching immediately around her wedding day, but all the instructors are fabulous, and the studio is kid-friendly!
Shake Shake Shake
If you're kinda in the mood for a retro/timeless style diner that serves burgers and shakes that will definitely make your body feel like death immediately after, this is your place. You thought you'd feel like doing something tonight? Not after a delicious time at Shake Shake Shake!
