Jill grew up in nearby Woodstock, Vermont and it is a town that looks like it is straight out of Gilmore Girls. It is a must see to walk around, grab breakfast, or just walk around the town green.
A quick (well quick for Vermont standards) trip from the Trailside Inn, the Long Trail Brewery is an essential stop when driving to or from Woodstock. There is delicious beer, a great outdoor patio, and amazing food.
The Woodstock Farmers Market is known for it's delicious sandwiches (you can't go wrong with a #2). They also sell snacks, drinks, and amazing pastries/cakes.
Take a quick trip up the Killington Gondola or ski lift and check out the beautiful Vermont views! It may not be peak foliage season but Vermont is pretty no matter the season (and we are saving you from the crowded leaf-peeper season)!
Check ahead of time- you may need to make reservations! Nice outdoor space.
Yummy bakery that does breakfast and lunch takeout. Jill’s family owned this bakery 20+ years ago!
There are a few options for lengths of hikes. The deer leap overlook hike starts near Pico mountain and is a little under 2 miles round trip. A great view of Killington at the top!
If you’re interested in golfing on Friday or Saturday let Dan know! He is likely going to reserve a few tee times!
