Traveling from Abroad

If you are traveling from abroad to join us for our wedding in Gundelsheim, Germany, you have two main options: flying to Frankfurt am Main (FRA) or Stuttgart (STR). Frankfurt is a little further from the venue (about 1.5 hours by car, 3-4h by train), but you might find better flight options. We will likely also be able to support you better since more guests are flying into Frankfurt. Public transport via train to Gundelsheim is easier from Stuttgart (2-3h by train). If you plan to rely solely on public transportation and flights to Stuttgart are not significantly more expensive, you may want to consider this option. If you plan to spend a few days longer, flying in and out of Munich is also an option. If you choose Munich as a hub travels to many locations in the Alps, to Austria (Salzburg, Insbruck, Vienna) and even Italy become convenient.
