House Or Rental
If this is your first time in Oahu, we highly recommend booking your hotel / accommodation in the Waikiki / Honolulu area since this is the HEART of Oahu where all the best restaurants, shopping, and beaches are within walking distance. Our wedding venue is at Lanikunohua Phase 2 (92-1101 Aliinui Dr, Kapolei, HI 96707 , about 45 mins from Waikiki. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions regarding how to get from your hotel to the wedding venue.
Rental Car
Oahu is a very BIG island. The best way to get around the island and enjoy its natural beauty is by car. We highly recommend renting a car for at least a portion of your trip if you plan to stay on the island for more than 3 days. Having a rental car is one of the best ways to get to the coolest Oahu must-see spots and allow you to make the most of your time on the island. You can easily pick up your rental car at the airport or many locations around Honolulu. To save your time, we highly recommend you to look up and reserve your car online via travel sites such as Expedia or book directly with the major car rental companies in the US (Enterprise, Budget, Turo to name a few) Other transportation options include: Uber / Lyft: easy and convenient to get around but costs add up quickly if you want to travel beyond Waikiki Public transportation (bus / trolley): cheap option to get to and from many parts of the island but these options are much slower and may not service some areas.
