Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 30th, 2026. If you have not RSVP'd by this date, we will count you as a "no".

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

For the Baraat on Friday the 12th, please arrive to Trinity Hall by 3:45 pm in order to be present for the entire ceremony. Saturday June 13th, the ceremony will start promptly at 2:00 pm, so please plan to arrive at St Mary of the Annunciation between 1:30-1:45 pm to allow ample time for parking and getting seated. Please take into account downtown Charleston traffic and parking, which will be available at Charleston Place parking garage directly next to the church. Street parking is available but tends to get taken up on Saturdays.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

On Friday there will be a parking lot on-site if you choose to drive. At the ceremony on Saturday, the Charleston Place parking garage is directly next to Saint Mary's of the Annunciation. For the reception on Saturday, Old Wide Awake has parking on-site, and you are welcome to leave your car over night if necessary and pick up on Sunday morning. We also encourage guests to car pool and take uber/lyfts which are readily available in Charleston for ease.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to account for guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! But our wedding will be adults only with the exception of children listed in your RSVP. If you would like to find a babysitter for during the ceremony, please text Jess at 507-402-7950. She can connect you with several competent and vetted babysitters in Charleston as she spent several years building a network while nannying and watching children during dental school!

Question

What is the weather like in Charleston in June?

Answer

Charleston in mid-June is warm, sunny, and humid. Average day-time temperatures are usually in the mid-80's with evenings in the low 70's, so light, breathable clothing is best.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The event Friday June 12th will start outdoors with the Baraat and end indoors with the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. On Saturday, the ceremony will take place indoors and the cocktail hour and reception will take place outdoors!
