To truly experience life here, there's no better way than to explore on foot. You could easily lose yourself for hours meandering through the streets. I recommend kicking off your morning at Panadería Rosetta, then wrapping up your day at a restaurant helmed by a world-class chef. Be sure to keep your camera handy, as you’ll encounter stunning street art at every turn.
Historic center of Mexico City
Centro Historico, the vibrant heart of the city, boasts historic landmarks that date back to the Aztec era. At its core is the expansive Zócalo plaza, a hub that attracts visitors to renowned museums and iconic structures, including the stunning art nouveau Palacio de Bellas Artes and the majestic Metropolitan Cathedral. Here, the lively atmosphere is enhanced by street vendors and casual taquerías coexisting alongside upscale restaurants along the bustling, pedestrian-friendly Calle Madero.
