Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (SJU)

This is the main international airport in Puerto Rico and is located ~5 minutes from our recommended hotels and ~20 minutes from Old San Juan. The airport code is SJU. I recommend downloading the Hopper app to track price fluctuations - Hopper will notify you when it's the best time to book! I wouldn't recommend actually booking your flight through the app, however. Booking directly through the airline's website is my preferred route. It's consistent with Hopper prices and the third-party involvement makes things very complicated if there are any unexpected changes to your travel plans....been through it, don't recommend.

Fairmont El San Juan Hotel

This is the main hotel where all wedding day events will be held. Located only 5 minutes from the airport and ~20 minutes from Old San Juan. If you're not planning to stay at Fairmont but would still like to use it's pools or amenities (and hang out with us!), day passes can be found at this link: https://www.resortpass.com/hotels/fairmont-el-san-juan UPDATE: All rooms in this room block have officially been reserved but you are more than welcome to book through their website at the normal rates (the hotel is not fully sold out). *There is still availability for discounted rooms at Residence Inn by Marriott below which is directly across the street from Fairmont!

Residence Inn by Marriott San Juan Isla Verde

This newly renovated hotel is located directly across the street from Fairmont El San Juan (1-2 minute walk from entrance to entrance). With our room block, the rates range from $189-199/night depending on room type. Please use the link in the 'View' box to reserve in this room block. PLEASE NOTE that if you enter dates outside of November 2-5, 2023, no rooms will appear. The room block can only accommodate rooms for November 2-5, 2023. Rentals are also available through the VRBO app or website. To find a place walking distance from the wedding, search for rentals in 'Isla Verde Beach, Carolina, Puerto Rico.' Foxwoods El San Juan Casino is a location on the VRBO map to reference and is inside Fairmont.

Travel Note

Uber

Ubers are available in the area and they're pretty cheap - you can definitely get away with not renting a car, even if you're planning to visit Old San Juan.

We had a great experience renting a car from Enterprise right at the San Juan Airport. Very reasonably priced for 3 days and we booked our reservation only a few hours before we arrived.
