Gorgeous beach hike with scenic views, great for those seeking a stroll or for adventurous hikers! Head up to the Red Butte viewpoint! Hint: If you show up before 9AM weekdays, you can drive up to the scenic overlooks without having to pay the entrance fee.
Things to do: San Diego Zoo
The only pandas in the entire state of California?!?!?! Count me in!
Things to Do: Sunset Cliffs
A great romantic stop out here in mission bay. So many places to park and look at the sunset. Many people even go nearby to grab a seafood burrito at Mike's or poke at It's Raw Poke shop and eat here watching the sunset. Its a great low key date.
Things to do: Balboa Park
The general location of our venue and one of the most famous locales in all of San Diego! So many museums, parks, and things to do. Hint: there's plenty of free places to go and walk around to including the botanical building and the Timken museum of art.
Things to do: Old Town San Diego
A good way to explore a part of San Diego from the colonial period brought to life! On Saturday afternoons you will find live bands playing as well!
Things to do/Eat: Liberty Station
An old marine base turned modern local arts and food hall! Lots of fun and exploring around these area, and prepare for a very lively afternoon!

A must try local stop in the city for lunch or dinner! Its a little pricey, but its well worth it if you enjoy seafood, all of which are locally sourced.

Looking for an upscale Italian restaurant? Their roasted Branzino, grilled king trumpet mushroom, and pizzas were our favorites all in the heart of little Italy!
Restaurant: Caroline's Seaside Cafe by Giuseppe
For a quick casual lunch with a beach view. Its right along the way to La Jolla next to the famous Oceanographic Institute. If you look harder, you might spot a whale in the distance!
Restaurant: Georges at the Cove
Our favorite restaurant with a view. Sit on the top floor during summer with a gorgeous view of the seals in La Jolla with a drink at hand, sounds like a perfect time!
Restaurant: Mabel's Gone Fishing
A local favorite of North Park that we stumbled upon. 10 second pitch? Spanish tapas with a California twist using local San Diegan seafood. The wine list is superb with many fun bites of seafood: mussels, trout, shrimp?!?! You're in for a very good time.
Dessert: An's Dry Cleaning
Named #1 in the entire USA for their ice cream. Its a wait but well worth a sample of their local flavors influenced by the community around them. Pro tip: only order what you can finish! It is the best texture.
Restaurant: Atelier Manna
A popular brunch place in north county. Try the vitality drinks that are the highlight and the turkish eggs if you want to splurge. Enjoy the day and walk around downtown after!
Restaurant: Sushi Ota
I gotta say sushi in San Diego is something else. It wasn't until my friends told me people specifically drove to SD for sushi did I fully understand what that means after eating here! The best part? Its very delicious without being too pricey.
Dessert: An's Electronics Repair
The newest addition to the An's ice cream franchise! The theming is so fun and inspired flavors from sticky toffee pudding and matcha strawberry ice cream!

A popular downtown bakery known for its unique spin off croissants, such as the Bibimbap croissant and croissant pizza! You are close to the gaslamp and downtown area, so its great to explore the area after!
