Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, it will be formal/cocktail. However, please note that the venue is a garden, which may have bumpy paths, so please choose appropriate footwear for comfort and ease

Unfortunately, we are limited with our guest count and would kindly ask that you come alone unless we stated otherwise. We tried our best to make sure everyone knows someone at the wedding so our guests will not feel awkward or left out.

What is parking like?

Please refer to the "travel" tab for a map. PARKING MAY BE DIFFICULT If possible, carpooling or using a rideshare app is recommended. Guest entry is at 5 pm and you can wait at the gate until that time, but if you arrive way earlier, feel free to take a little stroll through Balboa Park! **FOR THIS EVENT, DO NOT TYPE IN “Japanese Friendship Garden” USE ADDRESS: 2220 Paseo De Oro, San Diego CA 92101 (Must type in the entire address or will not work) Please choose the appropriate method of arrival: DRIVING - Park in the Organ Pavilion Lot (closest) or any other lot in Balboa Park. Even though this is near our Upper Garden entrance; you cannot enter here. Guests must go down the hill (via walking or driving) to the Lower Garden gate. UBERS: Type in Gold Gulch Parking Lot; you can have them drop you off all the way at the back gate near the Pavilion; there is a turnaround spot a bit past this gate.
