We're getting married!

Jessica and Kermit first matched on Hinge unknowingly on her birthday. It was shortly after the pair decided to meet for what can only be described as the world’s most boring first date: boba and a trip to H-Mart. Unfortunately, there was no food, but there was plenty of conversation, people watching, and chili oil shopping. One of us is still a little salty about the lack of dinner, but hey, we survived. However, an undeniable connection was made that day. What started as random texts turned into hour-long phone calls after work, and before we knew it, our carefully planned dates became daily spontaneous hangouts. As time went on, we both felt it was time to take a leap of faith and delete our dating apps. We were both in this for the long run. Since then, it’s been a whirlwind of adventures. From local trips to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, the Bay Area, and an unforgettable trip to Jessica’s home country of Korea, we’ve racked up more stories (and meals) than we can count. In September, Kermit proposed to Jessica at sunset out in Laguna Hills followed by a surprise party with all our close friends and family. It was the perfect way to start this next chapter of our lives together as Kermit finishes the final stages of his medical training in San Diego. And now, here we are, sharing our story with you and looking forward to all the adventures still to come.
