Rent a bike, talk a walk, or go for a jog. Along the Swamp Rabbit Trail you can explore downtown Greenville and travel all the way to Traveler's Rest (11 miles!) while passing by Furman University and a few local markets and shops.
While the Greenville Zoo is small, it has a lot to offer! You just need about 1-2 hours to visit the zoo and it is located in Cleveland Park so you can enjoy some of the parks and trails of downtown Greenville.

Interested in cars? Take the opportunity while you are in Greenville to check out a tour of the BMW manufacturing plant! The physical size of BMW Plant Spartanburg is approximately 7.0 million square feet with the recent addition of a new body shop, an expansion of the X5/X6 assembly hall, and an expansion of logistics. In addition to everything you will see, this tour includes a visit to our incredible new body shop where you will see our sophisticated robotics build the frames of our vehicles.

A small privately owned restaurant in small town, Traveler's Rest, is a great choice for breakfast or lunch. It is not far from our wedding venue and just 10 minutes from downtown Greenville.
While you are out enjoying the Swamp Rabbit Trail- stop for lunch and enjoy a locally sourced meal, in addition to coffee, specialty drinks and/or beer. They have a grocery store if you want some items to go (buying stecca bread is a MUST!) as well as some awesome local shirts and gifts.
