An Important Note on Travel and Accommodations
Our wedding falls on the same weekend as the Newport International Boat Show, one of the city’s largest annual events. Because this brings many visitors to the area, we highly recommend booking your accommodations as early as possible to ensure the best availability and rates. To make things easier, we have a room block at the Holiday Inn Express in Middletown. This location offers a more affordable rate and is conveniently situated away from the detours and hustle and bustle of downtown. This also avoids the traffic on the Pell bridge that leads into Newport. Please plan for extra travel time. Traffic over the Pell Bridge and throughout downtown (especially near Thames Street and Bowen’s Wharf) will be heavier than usual. We want to make sure you don't miss a moment of the celebration, so please leave a generous buffer when heading to the venue!

Holiday Inn Express Newport North - Middletown, an IHG Hotel
Our room block is located at the Holiday Inn Express Newport North - Middletown. This is located outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Newport, and is a great option for those wishing for an affordable rate, full parking lot, complimentary breakfast, and less detours as you travel to the venue. Located 15 minutes from our ceremony and reception venue! Guests may call the hotel to book your accommodations 49 weeks before your stay. A reservation link will also be available at this time, which we will post to this page once available. Cut-off date: Reservations must be received on or before Friday, August 06, 2027. Please indicate that you are a guest for the Greene/Conroy Wedding. The Holiday Inn Express requires a 2-night minimum stay to qualify for the room block rate. We have booked the room block for the nights of September 17th, 2027 and September 18th, 2027. Check-in time for all rooms is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. If you call the hotel and have any issues booking, please contact Jesse or Shawn for help. If the room block fills, we are able to add on additional rooms for our guests for the same rate!
