To our family and friends joining us for the wedding weekend in Austin: if you’re arriving on Thursday, we invite you to kick off the festivities with an evening of Indian bites, drinks, music, and dancing! The Baraat and Sangeet are vibrant pre-wedding ceremonies in Indian weddings. The Baraat is a lively groom’s procession with music and dancing, and the Sangeet is a musical party for both families to celebrate the upcoming union. The event will be buffet-style. Our main event! We are so excited to celebrate with all of you. Our wedding will be both indoors and outdoors, weather permitting. The ceremony will be held at Barr Mansion’s rose garden. Cocktail hour will be held outside of the greenhouse ballroom, while dinner and dancing will be held indoors in the farmstead and lovely greenhouse ballroom. If you have any allergens or dietary restrictions, when choosing your meal option, please first choose a meal option and respond to our question below so we can make the accommodation for you!
