Jesse and Maggie met the old-fashioned way — at a bar… with a little help from their friend Hinge. Their first date was at Bistro North, where drinks quickly turned into an unplanned dinner and a four-hour conversation. They both left excited to see each other again — which, for them, meant the very next morning, when Maggie presented to Jesse and the rest of Keystone Ski Patrol at their morning meeting. At the time, Maggie was working in Health and Safety and Jesse was in his fifth year as a Ski Patroller. This made the early days of their relationship even more fun, sneaking in ski and ride laps together under the veil of “work.” As the snow melted away, ski runs turned into hiking trails, bike rides, and an incredible trip to Ireland to see Maggie’s brother Eric play in Dublin. Their love grew stronger as they explored the beautiful state they call home — Jesse taking Maggie to his favorite hunt zones and Maggie taking Jesse (and her dog, Bear) to her favorite alpine lakes. Before long, weekend sleepovers turned into weeklong bags packed at each other’s houses. Eventually, they realized that Bear preferred Jesse’s place — nearly refusing to get into Maggie’s car to head back. So, Maggie loaded up her car and officially moved in, taking down most of Jesse’s Phish posters and replacing his décor with bins, labels, and candles in every room. Every step along their relationship has felt natural. Meeting, growing, moving in, secretly planning an engagement party while Jesse went through fire academy — even somehow keeping Maggie out of Jesse’s text messages through the planning process— all of it just seemed easy. Now they look to the future as they tie the knot and begin the next big chapter of their lives. They are so excited to welcome their friends and loved ones to beautiful Summit County, Colorado — the place where they live, explore, and fell in love. They hope this celebration is more than just a wedding, but also an invitation to experience the incredible place they call home. Come hike, bike, raft, rock climb, and sightsee the vast nature that surrounds them as they say their “I do’s.”
