As Covid-19 continues to be an issue, we ask that our guests in attendance be fully vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, please be considerate and wear a mask for our big day. Masks will be provided for your convenience or feel free to bring your own. We want to keep our family and friends safe. Please be respectful of our wishes.
Our entire wedding day will be taking place at Priam Vineyards. Our ceremony will be overlooking the grape vines with the cocktail hour behind the ceremony site on the lawn and reception under the tent. If it rains, everything will be held under the main tent.
Late summer/early Fall in southern New England weather will keep you on your toes! It's typically very warm and mildly humid during the day but somewhat chilly when the sunsets. Plan for 55-75 degree weather. Easy, breezy, beautiful - New England!
Suits and cocktail dresses welcome. Our wedding is an outdoor venue in a vineyard with grass, so ladies please keep this in mind when choosing footwear! Also please note, dinner will be hosted outside, so we'd recommend bringing a jacket or shall to keep warm.
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and within Covid-19 guidelines. Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
We have a hotel block to which we will be providing transportation, as we want our guests to be able to enjoy themselves and drive safely. We'd love for you to stay and keep the party going with us!
Yes. If you book within our hotel block, transportation will be provided.
Priam Vineyards is off of Route 2 to Route 149. The venue is on the corner on Shailor Hill Road. It's a quick turn and can be easy to miss - look for the sign! Our parking attendants will lead you to the private event parking lot, as our wedding will take place up a dirt road to the private location past the winery.
We will have transportation from our hotel to the venue to ensure on-time arrival as our ceremony will begin at 5p sharp. Guests are allowed entrance to the area beginning at 4:45p. Remember, this is an active winery, so please do not go up to the reception area before 4:45, as you may be unintentionally interrupting the event set up or everyday vineyard work activities. If you do arrive early, you're of course welcome to grab a glass of wine in vineyard's tasting rooms to pass the time!
Transportation will be provided for our guests staying at our hotel block, but for those who are not staying at the hotel or prefer to drive themselves, there is a dirt lot within walking distance to the tent. Parking is free and attendants will direct you where to park.
The RSVP deadline will be on your mailed invitation. Please RSVP via mail insert by the date.
Guests are allowed into the wedding area at 4:45p. Ceremony will begin promptly at 5p with cocktail hour to follow at 5:30p, then reception to start at 6:30p. The town has a strict noise ordinance so music will shut off at 10p. Bonfire will take place on premises until 10:30p when transportation arrives to take us back to the hotel, about 25 minutes away. We plan to keep the party going at Maggie McFly's if Covid-19 restrictions allow. Maggie McFly's is less than a 5 minute walk from our hotel. We hope you join us!
We will have a vegetarian option available. If you have any allergies or need special diet accommodations, please let us know ahead of time.
Yes, feel free to post pictures on your personal social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag, #adamsfineroyalwedding so we can keep track of all your photos!
We have created registries with a number of different stores and vendors, all of which you can browse through the "Registry" tab linked on the website here! We recently purchased our first house together, and would greatly appreciate any gifts to help fill out the essentials. For those who don't find an item on the registry that speaks to them, we would also warmly welcome monetary gifts or donations to go towards purchases of the new furniture, remodeling, and landscaping that will go into making our new house a home!
