FAQs

Please direct any further questions to our wedding email address: JessAndLucas2027@gmail.com
Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you're an individual guest rather than a family member or couple, you should find a plus-one option in your RSVP. Please let us know then whether someone will be accompanying you. If you don't have a plus-one option but you have a long-term significant other who you want to bring, send us an email at JessAndLucas2027@gmail.com

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We'd love to have our guests bring their little ones! Please just let us know how many will be joining. If you have young children you want to bring but we didn't include them on your RSVP, please let us know via email at JessAndLucas2027@gmail.com

Question

What should we wear?

Answer

We suggest cocktail attire: jumpsuits or mid-length dresses for women, and collared shirts with khakis or suits for men (jacket/tie optional). Please note that the ceremony will take place on grassy terrain. Wear something that makes you feel comfortable. We're anticipating warm weather in the mid-70s with a chance of a breeze. Due to unpredictability, we recommend layers, though we will be moving into a sheltered area after the ceremony.

Question

What are the dietary options?

Answer

There will be gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options in addition to award-winning meats catered by the Black Hills Butcher Block. You can make your selection and indicate any allergies or restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. (Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.)

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The entire event will be held at Redstone, the Mehmen family ranch. Free valet will be offered, and golf carts will be available to transport guests uphill and around the lot as needed.

Question

Are there other transportation options?

Answer

A number of local taxi services are available. See the Airport link on our “Travel” page for more info. We recommend carpooling when possible!
