The Genesee Brew House is always our top recommendation for people visiting Rochester—it has gorgeous views of High Falls and awesome beer. There usually is a little bit of a wait if you go on a weekend but there's a full museum downstairs for you to check out and lots of room to wait outside and sit and enjoy the views until you get a table.

Good for brunch and dinner, TRATA is a great sit-down spot for a meal and/or drinks—they just installed a serve yourself beer wall! There's a gorgeous rooftop to sit on if it's a nice weekend (Fingers crossed!)

Where we got engaged! Such a cute little park with a walking loop around the reservoir, trails to hike through and a gorgeous skyline view of Rochester.

Worth visiting for adults and kiddos alike, the Strong Museum is highly interactive museum devoted to the history and exploration of play. They have a large arcade, lots of exhibits to explore and even a mini Wegmans to play in.
