Yes. Cocktail Attire - Sprezzatura... see next FAQ on "sprezzatura"
You can blame Carlo for this one :) Sprezzatura is the art of looking great, but without fussiness. It's embracing imperfection, and in so doing, pulling it off. When pulled off expertly, sprezzatura is what you get when you put a lot of thought into your clothing, but it doesn't appear that you did so. We want this to be a formal event, but want you to express yourself and your style. Have fun with this and if you have any concern, don't worry, whatever you choose to wear will be just right. This is a small and intimate wedding and reception, so if a +1 is not on your invitation, please do not bring a date.
The main event of the evening is going to be a 2.5+ hour formal sit down dinner. The farm also has animals and a fast moving creek running through it which would require keeping eyes on kids at all times. For this reason we are asking that all of our favorite little people stay home for this event.
Please see the travel tab. We have a room block at the Marriot in Boulder.
Yes! Please let us know and we will be able to accommodate you.
There is parking available at the venue (The Lyons Farmette). However, it is a 25 minute drive back to Boulder. If you leave a car overnight it must be moved by 9:00 am the next morning.
There will be a free shuttle to and from the Marriot to the Lyons Farmette. The shuttle will pickup at 3:00 pm and drop off at 10:30 pm. Please do not plan to catch an Uber/ Lyft back to your accommodations! The farm is in a rural location and it will be extremely hard to get a ride home.
