There are so many things to do in the Orlando area. We've compiled a list of things we've done, and things we'd like to do below!

Walt Disney World® Resort

When everyone thinks of Disney World they definitely think of Magic Kingdom. Disney World resort is actually made up of 4 Theme Parks, 2 Water Parks, SEVERAL resorts and a shopping center and more!

Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course

1205 Epcot Resorts Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32836

One out of two miniature golf courses. This course is located right near the Swan and Dolphin resorts and offers two 18 hole courses themed to the Disney movie, Fantasia. Rounds cost about $14.00 for adults, and the second round is 25% off. Operating hours are generally 10am through 10pm and each course takes about 1 hour.

Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course

1548 West Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

The second of Disney's miniature golf courses. This course is located steps away from Disney's Blizzard Beach waterpark and this park is designed as, "a vacation retreat for Santa and his elves". There are 2 18 hole courses that have a festive atmosphere with Christmas Carol soundtracks. Rounds cost about $14.00 for adults, and the second round is 25% off. Operating hours are generally 10am through 10pm and each course takes about 1 hour.

Golfing

In edition to mini-golf Disney World has traditional golf courses as well. Disney's Palm, Magnolia, and Lake Buena Vista courses are known for being championship level 18-hole courses. Oak Trail is a 9-hole course.

Surrey Bike Rentals

Explore different Disney World Resorts with a partner or a group on a surrey bike! These are fun and useful when exploring the larger, more spread out resorts. You can rent Surrey Bikes at the following Disney resorts- Boardwalk, Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside, Old Key West, and Saratoga Springs Resort. Cost is approximately $20 for 2 person bike for 30 minutes, or $22 for a 4 person bike for 30 minutes.

Horseback Riding at Tri-Circle-D Ranch

4510 Fort Wilderness Trail, Orlando, FL 32836

The Tri Circle D Ranch at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campgrounds offer 45 minute guided horseback riding tours for those over 48" tall and under 250lbs. Cost is approximately $55 per person.

Disney World Fishing

Several 2 and 4 hour guided fishing excursions are offered from multiple locations throughout Walt Disney World. All Walt Disney World Resort fishing excursions include: An experienced guide Rod and reel Tackle Artificial and/or live bait (NITRO boats will not offer live bait.) Non-alcoholic beverages only (Guests may not bring alcoholic beverages aboard.) Prices typically range anywhere from $235-$455 with multiple options accommodating anywhere from 1-5 people.

Disney Springs

Discovery Cove Orlando

An all inclusive day resort where you can interact with dolphins, feed tropical birds, snorkel with exotic fish and more! All food and limited beverages are included with your admission- with the option to upgrade excursions, drink packages and more.

Gatorland

Universal Orlando Resort

With 2 theme parks, a waterpark and Universal City Walk (shopping center), there is something for everyone. Known for more "adventurous" rides then Disney World, this is also the home to Harry Potter and the wizarding world.

SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld is a theme as well as marine zoological park. You can find all of the information for Seaworld in the website above. (Jess watched Blackfish so she will no longer go to Seaworld, so there's not much information listed here).

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

If you've rented a car and are into taking a drive south- you'll find Busch Gardens located in the Tampa area!

Cocoa Beach

Cocoa Beach, FL 32931

Looking to hit the beach? Cocoa Beach is the closed beach to Disney World- and it approx. 60 miles away. From Google- "Cocoa Beach is a Florida city south of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. It’s a gateway to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, which has rockets and iconic artifacts. The city is known for its beach and surf breaks. Inside a surf shop, the Florida Surf Museum traces the sport’s local history. Nearby Cocoa Beach Pier has eateries and shops. The maritime forest at oceanfront Lori Wilson Park attracts birdlife"
