Dan and Cheryl are Jess's parents, but they made Aaron feel like he was a part of the family right from the very beginning. Years after that first nerve-wracking introduction, eating dinner on the patio in the backyard of Jess's childhood home, we are so excited to make it official! Thank you for loving and supporting us every step of the way.

Ariel Gaines (They/Them)

Ariel is a very dear friend to both Jess and Aaron after Ariel and Jess met several years ago in Chicago. They're the kind of friends that can go months without talking or seeing one another and just immediately slip back into comfortable conversation. It is deeply meaningful to us to have them officiate our wedding.

Ali Kissinger (She/Her)

Matron of Honor

Ali and Jess met in Philadelphia while Jess was in graduate school. Ali worked in a shop and Jess walked in one day to ask if they had any positions open. The manager unexpectedly hired Jess on the spot and, though the two only worked together for a short time, they became close immediately and have always felt as though they have known each other for years. Jess left Philly over 6 years ago, but they still chat almost every day.

Tashi DuLac (She/Her)

Maid of Honor

Tashi and Jess met when they began working together in Chicago. They developed a friendship around their shared love of travel, animals, camping, hiking, gardening, food, fiber arts, and more. Tashi loves to spin yarn and Jess loves to knit, which works out perfectly! They look forward to going to fiber festivals together annually, in addition to other trips both domestic and international.

Andrew Hartel (He/Him)

Best Man

Andrew and Aaron met a few years ago when Jess moved in with Aaron in Madison. They had a little welcome gathering with friends at a local bar. An old high school friend of Jess's who was living nearby came out with her husband for the occasion and our partners hit it off! Aaron and Andrew have basically been inseparable ever since. They hang out many evenings after work, voice chatting and playing video games.

Brian Domokos (He/Him)

Groomsman

Brian is Jess's most annoying little brother. He's also her only brother! They haven't always gotten along, but they share a love of sports and the outdoors. They grew up playing baseball and softball together. They especially enjoy visiting the cabin and going on camping trips, as they have for their entire lives!

Violet Kissinger (She/Her)

Flower Girl

Violet is the daughter of Jess's best friend and matron of honor, Ali. Although we haven't gotten to see each other in person as often as we'd like in the last few years, we get the chance to video chat fairly regularly. Violet is looking forward to wearing the pretty dress she picked out on the big day!

Kalli Broyles (She/Her)

Flower Girl

Kalli is the daughter of Jess's brother Brian's girlfriend, Kelsi. Jess and Aaron often have a blast playing with Kalli when they get together! Kalli is extremely excited to be a flower girl in Jess and Aaron's wedding and couldn't wait to practice walking down the aisle last time we were at the cabin together.
