Meet our Wedding Party

Meet our bridesmaids and groomsmen! We are excited that they have put up with us long enough to make it to this point and are excited to have them standing by us on our big day.

Blake Robertson

Groom

WHAT A LUCKY GUY

Jesann Spani

Bride

WHAT A LUCKY GAL

Robbie Philbrick

Groomsman

I was lucky enough to have a Language Arts/Social Studies block with Robbie in 6th grade and we became fast friends. Our shared love of sports, music, late night video game sessions, and the early 2000s comedy central lineups formed the base for a lifelong friendship. I was honored to stand next to Robbie when he married the lovely Sarah Dean, and I am very excited to have Robbie by my side a few years later.

Ana McLay

Bridesmaid

I have known Ana since we both went to Elementary school at Marvista. We played soccer together and had weekend sleepovers, She is the only person's "home phone" number I still know by heart. Through high school we would carpool to school, swim team, and drill team, eat XL bags of Tims JalapeƱo chips, and Ana constantly got me in trouble--driving people before being 16.5--so I would make her ride in my car trunk, and sneaking out to bonfires at the Cove. We were on a ski/snowboard trip at Schweitzer, ID when we had this total hottie bartender (shoutout to Trevor, Anas now husband). Our birthdays a just a few days apart, and Ana has already created a family of 3 of the cutest kids and their dog Pucci. I was in Ana's wedding (what like 10 years ago?) and am so excited to have her in mine!

Dan Micheli

Groomsman

Dan and I met freshman year of high school sitting next to each other in English class. Our friendship grew from a love of music, finding the most ridiculous thing to do in a situation, watching man vs. wild, and playing board games. I can always count on Dan for an open conversation, an unhinged good time, and a great day on the water. Dan co-owns a boat with me-- the infamous Bostwick, and we're excited to float in to marriage with him by our side.

Sydney Codd

Bridesmaid

Sydney is my SISTER IN LAW--marrying my brother Conner in March 2022. I met Sydney before she started dating my brother because we played tennis against each other in High School. I am claiming that I always won, since this is my website to create ;) After she started dating Conner, she came over to our house and wondered why there were photos of me all over his families house...ha! Together we have gone on hikes, played pickle ball, played endless Julie B games, and gone on family trips. I even got to be there to witness their engagement in Hawaii last Christmas. The entire Codd family has joined our family for holidays, we do "hair day" together, and have helped Syd pick out her wedding dress and go on her bachelorette party. I am SO excited to have Syd by me on my big day.

Mike Holm

Groomsman

Mike and I have been friends from the beginning, meeting early on in elementary school. From invented games on the playground, and playing on the same little league team, to sneaking out and getting in trouble Mike's been there for it all. Today we have scaled back the trouble but enjoy golfing together, cheering on all the Seattle sports teams, and taking the dogs for a good romp. We're very glad to have him be a part of our special day.

Megan Pedersen

Bridesmaid

Megan and I have been friends since we were in diapers. Living down the street from each other, we started doing play group as kids. We used to dress alike every year on the 4th of July, strutting all over 3TP in our fanciest reds whites and blues. We would have Lani's butter popcorn, watching movies for hours on end then listening to Alanis Morissette on blast all night. We tried mother-daughter things like T-Ball and fishing only to learn our moms didnt know the rules to Tball, and Megan ending up with a fish hook right next to her eye. We found our stride with different actives like baking, zoo lights, and drinking wine, and still do puppy play dates and slumber parties to this day. Megan has stories that have me laughing until I am crying, and I cant wait for her to be by my side.

Ted Trujillo

Groomsman

I met Ted Freshman year at Garcia Hall--at New Mexico State. Whether it was freestyle rapping, shredding guitar hero, or running the beer pong table, we were inseparable. Sophomore year we decided to become roommates and spent our time polishing our Call of Duty skills, learning how NOT to take care of a house, and throwing weekly parties. When Ted married his wonderful wife Christin, I got to stand alongside him. They've now grown their family, and we're thrilled they will be making the trip from Dallas to watch us form ours.

Kelly Morrissey

Bridesmaid

I met Kelly when I first moved back to Seattle at work (CBRE-Microsoft) when we were randomly assigned "carpool buddies." During those lucky commutes we spent hours in the car between Seattle to Redmond. During that time we became fast friends, usually with me oversharing about my weekend, upcoming travel plans or work encounter and her saying "...no judgement!!" She survived many near death experiences despite my phenomenal driving skills, and together we would harmonize "but did you die?" We love co-planning activities that usually involve dogs, wine, food, or all three. We play pranks on each other by exchanging a bunny poster between our houses, finding it when we least expect it. Kelly is known for her love of Karaoke and is credited with starting "compliment circles." Love you Kel!

Alex Carter

Groomsman

Alex and I met in the same freshman English class that fellow groomsman Dan was also a part of,. We listened to the Smashing Pumpkins, watched Sonics basketball (RIP), and took over Alex Knapp's basement for Super Smash Bros in their younger years. Today we cheer on Tottenham Hotspurs, play disc and ball golf, and talk politics over a nice glass of red. I was a groomsman when Alex made the best decision of his life and married Britt, and now he gets to stand alongside we while I make the best decision of my life!

Elizabeth Hernandez

Bridesmaid

I met Elizabeth when I moved back to Seattle after grad school. We have had so much fun doing girls nights, being way too obsessed with our animals, going to concerts, having slumber parties, wine tasting, shopping, all of the girly things. Elizabeth was my go to gal for trying on engagement rings and helped keep Blakes secret until he popped the question-- she even drove to Whidbey Island (where Blake proposed) to hide in the bushes and take our picture, popping out shortly after with Champagne to celebrate. I am so excited that she will be by my side on my big day!

Sarah Dean

Officiant

Blake was at Sarah and Robbie's wedding in the early months of dating Jesann. When Sarah heard that Jesann lived on a houseboat, she said, MARRY HER! So we knew she is half the credit to this marriage. Sarah is fun, sincere, witty and hilarious. Together we go on hikes, eat copious amounts of pizza and thai food, get our "zoo's" together (they have 3 dogs and a cat!), watch outdoor movies, and have bonfires and always lots of great conversation and laughs. She is a badass local hero (a Covid Nurse) and this year she became a mom to the beautiful Rees. She has seen our relationship from the very beginning, and has a relationship with us as a couple, and individually. We are so honored that she will be our Holy Madame Revered Officiant on our big day.

Cole and Molly Spani

Ring Bearer

Cole will be bringing the rings down the aisle with his beautiful mom (my sister in law) and bridesmaid Molly! Cole is my nephew, and he will be 1 at our ceremony! He will be bringing our precious cargo down the aisle and doing his best walking moves to show off for all of you! I am excited Molly will be a bridesmaid on our big day as well, as she has been in our family since her and Kellen started dating back in the USC days. Whether she is dressing up like cutlery or being forced to play Spani games and hold slimly salmon, she is the best sport and brings some much needed calm to our crew. She is insanely smart, well travelled, and thoughtful, and I was lucky enough to be part of her celebrations in Palm Springs and Italy when her and Kellen were having #kellensdreamwedding.

Greg Kitashima

Honorary Groomsman

Although not physically on earth anymore, Greg will always hold a spot as one of my best friends. Greg and I met early on in elementary school and spent far too much time pretending to be Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp, Griffey and A-Rod, Warren Moon and Joey Galloway. No matter what we were pretending to be we were always teammates, best friends, and eventually roommates. Greg helped me adopt a cat from behind the register of a CVS, let me turn his backyard into a raised bed garden, and was a worthy adversary in FIFA, Catan, or any other game we played. While Greg was taken from us far too soon, all the good memories we made together will always live on.

Alli Ohana

Honorary Bridesmaid

Although not physically on earth anymore, she would light up every room she walked in to. She was funny, snarky, and always up for adventure. She wanted to make the most of life on earth-pouring so much love into her siblings, friends and family. She found it hilarious to bring me to Jewish celebrations and laugh as I pretended to speak Hebrew. She was the worst at texting back, because she was too busy being present in whatever moment she was in-- something I secretly admired. She would 100% be by my side on this big day, but I know she is here celebrating in spirit!
