Our first date was at the Roanoke in Eastlake where we both walked in to the perfect dive bar where your shoes stick to the floor with every step. Since we had finally met after "swiping right" and neither of us had been murderers (whew!), we added some adventure on our second date and went night snowboarding at Stevens Pass, taking a break to share a beer over some live music. We classed it up on the third date over a fancy meal of Ox Tail and some cocktails, but both decided over dinner to wrap up and head to the Monkey for some karaoke (yes, just the two of us...). Since those first few dates, there have been a lot more beers, mountain adventures, and snoop dogg rapping . We feel like we are weirdly the same person, and we are both so happy to have found our "match" for a life together full of laughing, adventure and endless fun. Over the last 3.5 years we have lived such an amazing life together. We have traveled all over the US, Canada and Jamaica together. We have gone snowboarding, biking, wine tasting, swimming, fishing-- you name it we have done it once and are trying to do it again! We have most of our families locally in Seattle and have been able to celebrate holidays and casual Tuesday night dinners together which is rare and we feel so lucky. We live a unique life together on the houseboat, and have adopted two dogs together during our relationship (Wags and Warren, who will surely be included in our celebration). We have survived working from home together during the pandemic, and have had endless entertainment playing each other heads up Uno or Poker until the late hours of the night. We have fun together no matter what we are doing, and will continue to live a full life together with endless adventure and laughs. We are so excited to celebrate our relationship with our closest family and friends, and we are so grateful for your role in our lives. We know that it "takes a village," and we are grateful that you are in ours.
