Lodging

There are a few options for lodging in the area, but we are highly encouraging everyone to stay at Kirkwood which is a 20 minute drive from The Hideout. We will arrange shuttles to and from the venue on Saturday that will leave from the resort center at Kirkwood. Please note that there are limited options for dining that are open in the area during the summer (there is a market and very simple options). We recommend that you look into accommodations that include small kitchenettes (e.g. MEADOWS REGION | STUDIO CONDOMINIUM is the simplest and cheapest option) and shop for simple groceries for breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Alternatively, you can plan to explore the area and drive to South Lake Tahoe where there is plenty of choice (see the "Things To Do" page!).

Pyramid Peak Properties

There are cabins and condos run by a separate property management in the Kirkwood resort. We do not have a group discount arranged with Pyramid Peak, but these are good options if you would like a bit more space or want to coordinate with a larger group. Please note that if you are taking the shuttles, you will want to be within walking distance of the base of Kirwood at 1501 Kirkwood Meadows Drive.

Another option for more "rustic" cabins that is slightly closer to The Hideout. Please note that our shuttles will not be running to and from Kit Carson, so you will have to drive to all events if you choose this option.

There are also Airbnb's and VRBO's in Kirkwood (and/or the surrounding area). Same note as with Pyramid Peak to be within walking distance of 1501 Kirkwood Meadows Drive if you'd like to take the shuttles.
