There are endless opportunities for outdoor sports and recreation around Kirkwood. Additionally, the town of South Lake Tahoe, and the lake itself, are a 45 minute drive away and has many options for food, activities, and gorgeous views.

Hiking!
There is amazing hiking in the entire region. Some jumping off points for trails below.
