We’ll have drinks and light bites at the welcome gathering, and have selected the timeframe for the gathering so that you'll have space afterward to grab dinner before a our second event on Friday night, which will start at 8pm. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND making dinner reservations in advance, as Stowe gets quite busy in the summer. There are lots of great restaurants to choose from, so take a look around and pick a spot that sounds good to you and your crew!

Live music is one of our favorite pastimes and here's a chance to join us for a concert of one of our absolute favorite western Massachusetts bands! It'll take place at Stowe Cider, with doors at 7pm and music starting at 8pm. Stowe Cider is a relaxed, family-friendly venue with indoor space, outdoor space (weather permitting), an on-site restaurant, and local drinks available. Check out their website for menus and more info. This would be a public event, so keep in mind it may get busy. We're offering free tickets to the first 30 guests who RSVP for the concert, so feel free to RSVP if you think you might be interested.
2:45 pm
Our venue, the Barn at Smuggler’s Notch, is perfect for us in many ways, though it’s a bit of a drive from Stowe as it’s on the other side of Mount Mansfield. To make things easier, we’ll be providing shuttle transportation from two locations in Stowe. Guests staying at Outbound Stowe and nearby hotels on Mountain Road should arrive at Outbound Stowe by 2:45pm, where two air-conditioned school buses will be waiting for you. Guests staying at the The Green Mountain Inn, Airbnbs, or VRBOs should park downtown and meet at The Green Mountain Inn by 2:45pm to catch another air-conditioned school bus. The drive is about 35 minutes. Please note that the buses do not have bathrooms – we tried to book coach buses but they can’t traverse the mountain pass – so please plan accordingly.

Summer cocktail attire
Join us for the big event!!! Our ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting), and we’ve put a great deal of thought into making the celebration feel personal and true to us. After the ceremony, we’ll gather for cocktails, drinks, and plenty of delicious hors d’oeuvres, followed by dinner around 6pm, then dancing and general revelry into the night. For more details about the menu, attire, venue, and other helpful information, please visit the FAQs section of the website.
8:00 pm - 11:00 pm
From 8–11pm, we plan to run at least one shuttle per hour back to Stowe. We hope you’ll be having too much fun to leave early, but if you get tired, want some downtime, or simply prefer an earlier night, rides will absolutely be available. Most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the evening in whatever way feels best to you — whether that means dancing until the very end or heading back early to relax and recharge.

We're hosting a grab-and-go (or grab-and-stay!) brunch the morning after the wedding. Feel free to come and break bread with us, or just grab something for the road. We'll have tasty food from Two Sons Bakehouse (https://www.twosonsbakehouse.com), along with coffee, tea, and juice. We hope to see you!
