Maid of Honor
We've been inseparable since meeting at Rutgers University in 2012. She truly is the definition of family to me. She's understanding, witty, and spoils me by making the best vegan creme brulee I've ever had in my life! Now, I can't imagine my special day without her standing by my side.
Best Man
Many know him as Sean, we know him as “The McChesinator”. Simply put, he gets shit done. If I can be half the husband, brother and father this man is, I will have succeeded. Suave, caring, ample amounts of Dad jokes, he’s got it all! I’m truly grateful to have him in my family and I’m honored to have him as my best man.
Bridesmaid
We've shared so many fun memories since I moved to Philadelphia in 2017. Our friendship quickly developed after we bonded over childhood TV shows, conspiracy theories, and exploring the city together. I'm grateful to have Zuba by my side to share this beautiful memory as she played such a pivotal role in our proposal.
Groomsman
Chris climbed the friend rankings early. Remembered by Nonie solely as “the one who gives big hugs”. Internationally beloved by extended family via a trip to Ireland. Chris has been there through it all. It’s just a shame Jen didn’t get to meet me during our flat brim hat era.
Bridesmaid
Jamie crashed my 3rd birthday party in 1993. Looking back it was one of the best presents I've ever gotten (once I was no longer upset that I couldn't eat my birthday cake). It's been an honor to see her grow into the person that she is and am so grateful we get to share this special day together.
Groomsman
In 2006, Leonard invited Bob to an Eagles game and I exclaimed, “why’d you invite that kid!?”. We’ve been best friends ever since. From our days driving aimlessly around the suburbs, up through our ritualistic Chinese Sundays, Bob has been a constant. Thank you Leonard for taking a flier on this guy.
Groomsman
Pat and I first bonded over splitting McDonald's on the school bus in 5th grade. We haven’t looked back ever since. I encourage everyone at this wedding to spend some time with Pat. He is quite possibly the most active listener on the planet. His unique talent for pulling a fact about your hometown or naming someone you both know is a site to be seen. Cheers to Senator Greenwood.
Officiant
Officiant, spiritual guide, community activist, friend, brother. Important to note that growing up we competed in some of the most intense games of ping pong (shoutout Greenwood), football, wiffle ball, basketball- you name it! His tagline through the bloodiest of battles was to PLAY FAIR. He didn’t know it yet, but he was born for this moment of officiating our wedding. Leonard has an incredible heart and we are honored to have him officiate this wedding and play a pivotal role in our big day.
