We are getting married!

In Fall of 2020, Jen and I connected on the popular dating app, Hinge. With user volume quadrupling during a global pandemic, holy intervention from our Divine Savior mixed with my boyish charm and incredible sales skills allowed me to land a date with Jen. Our first date was unbelievably comfortable. We spent over 4 hours laughing, rambling and learning about each other. I vividly remember returning back to my house to grab Carroll out of his video game, just to explain how amazing this girl was (important to note, he plays this game where he pretends to be a great white shark. You’re welcome for the conversation starter). A few days after the first date, we set another. And then a few more. Before long, we were spending the majority of our time together. Dating during this time was very interesting because you’re spending a ton of 1-on-1 time together. It allowed us to develop a strong bond early. Over time we were able to introduce family & friends into our relationship and sprinkle in some amazing trips together. It didn’t take long for me to realize I had something special; especially since she didn’t flinch at my deep-rooted need to watch the Eagles, hangout with friends I made when I was 12, and play golf. Jen is one of the most impressive people I have ever met. She is authentic and loving. She is open-minded with a responsible dose of stubbornness. She can accomplish anything she sets her mind to. She always considers how I feel and we fully trust each other. She brings out the best in me and we can always find ways to have fun during the most monotonous of tasks.
