FAQs

If you have any questions that aren't listed here, please call or text Jenny (630-531-8989) or Tyler (509-901-8338)
Question

what should I wear?

Answer

Our celebration will be joyful and laid back, so please wear something that makes you feel festive. Think cocktail attire with a big personality - vibrant colors, bold patterns, and/or florals. Between our garden ceremony and typical New Orleans streets/sidewalks, you will encounter grass and uneven surfaces, so please choose your footwear with comfort in mind. See the “what to wear” page for visuals of the vibe!

Question

what weather should I expect?

Answer

In April, New Orleans weather is typically mild and pleasant (fingers crossed!), with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 50s or low 60s. If you're traveling, consider packing a light jacket or sweater for the evening.

Question

is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

A bit of both! We’ll start with a ceremony outside in Clouet Gardens, then move inside Tigermen Den across the street for cocktails, dinner, and dancing.

Question

when is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We appreciate your response by March 1st.

Question

what time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 4pm at Clouet Gardens (710 Clouet St).

Question

is there a hotel block?

Answer

Because our guest list is small and many people already have ideas for where they want to stay, we realized it doesn't make sense to recommend one-size-fits-all accommodations. With so many options to choose from, to fit all different vibes and budgets, we're instead sharing a few spots near the venue, along with neighborhoods to consider when looking at options. Please see the “where to stay and what to do” page on our website, and text one us if you want some help finding a place or a second opinion before you book—we love this stuff!

Question

can we bring our bring our kids?

Answer

Because of our venue size, we’re keeping the celebration adults-only, with the exception of our ring bearers. Thanks for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
