Once upon a time in Bayou St. John, Tyler was the cute server at Jenny's favorite neighborhood restaurant. Jenny was already packing up to move to Portland, Oregon. They talked, became friends, and she moved away. A very wise friend gave Jenny's number to Tyler a few months later and they texted from across the country, but fell out of touch. A year passed, and Jenny finally took a trip back to New Orleans. They went on a date. The next month, Tyler had some work on the Oregon coast and they went on another one. Jenny moved back to New Orleans and they kept talking. When Jenny wanted to watch a solar eclipse, Tyler set up a surprise picnic in City Park. They fell in love, and so did their three dogs. About a year later in that same spot in the park, he asked her to marry him. …and they lived happily ever after.
