Take a stroll along the Mississippi River and stop by to say goodbye (or just hi) if you’re around. We’ll have coffee and pastries and will be lounging in a shaded picnic area. The easiest way to get to the picnic area is by crossing the Rusty Rainbow bridge at 3230 Chartres St (across from Applied Arts Coffee) in the Bywater. Once you cross the bridge, the picnic area will be in front of you/just off to the left. There are two other entrances at either end of the park, if you want to take in more of the trail, one at 2300 N Peters in the Marigny/near the French Quarter (climb the steps/cross the bridge) and another at the far end of the Bywater (4000 Chartres St).
