Jenny could not ask for better parents than Judy and Keith. They instilled in Jenny a work ethic and sense of right and wrong that serves Jenny well in life. They have been Jenny's confidants, always giving Jenny the best advise, but 100% supportive of her decisions at the same time. When Jenny was struggling with the stress of being a first-year associate in a new city, Judy aptly commented "It looks like it is time to bring Promise (the horse) up to LA." Mama knows best! Promise was shipped from San Diego to LA within a few weeks. When Geoff asked for their blessing to marry Judy, Keith responded with "ask Judy" and Judy beamed with delight. After nearly 45 years of marriage, it looks like Judy and Keith figured it out!

Mother and Father of the Groom
Ever the supportive parents, Linda and Joe are thrilled that Geoff asked Jenny to marry him (and that she said yes!) Linda and Joe are wonderful parents who enabled Geoff to be the strong, hard-working, kind man that he is. Jenny/Geoff and Linda/Joe enjoy their "date nights" out to Cuban food, Yang Chow, and Kings hockey games. Go Kings Go! Jenny and Geoff are so incredibly thankful for their time with Linda and Joe and, and Jenny looks forward to joining the family!
Jon Meeker

Jon is Jenny’s younger (not little since he is almost 6 foot, 7!) brother. Jenny and Jon are the best of friends, and have had many adventures traveling together, checking out concerts (including in Paris!), going to Disneyland, or just lazy days watching movies. Jon has graciously allowed Geoff to join in the fun. We are so incredibly thrilled that Jon is going to make our marriage official!

Seriously, no words are necessary for this little furry bundle of joy! Everyone make sure they give Rainier a pet at the ceremony. She'll steal the show (as she should!)
Abby Rae Hulbert

Abby Rae is the fun-loving, feisty, five year old daughter of Amber and George. She loves coloring, dancing, and hanging out with her best friend, Rainier. "Uncle" Geoff and "Auntie" Jenny are thrilled that the marvelous Miss Abby Rae will lead the team down the aisle!
Mila Sampson
Junior Bridesmaid, and Keeper of the Rings and Rainier
Mila is one of Geoff's beautiful and talented nieces, and will be co-keeper of the rings and Rainier along with her twin sister, Sophie. Geoff cannot even begin to describe how much love he has for Mila and Sophie, and how proud he is of the wonderful young adults that they have grown into. Geoff loves being their uncle, and fondly remembers them growing up. From ice skating together, enjoying Thanksgiving in Virginia (where they live), and beach time together while Uncle Geoff surfed in Malibu.
Sophie Sampson
Junior Bridesmaid, and Keeper of the Rings and Rainier
Sophie is Geoff's other beautiful and talented niece, and will be co-keeper of the rings and Rainier along with her twin sister, Mila. When Geoff first told Jenny about Sophie (and Mila), she could tell right away how much he loved them. He described the girls as two of the most kind, good, beautiful, hard-working and all around wonderful young adults that he has ever known. (And as a teacher, Geoff has known many young adults.) Added bonus, Sophie shares her name with Jenny/Geoff's other fur-baby, Sophie the cat. We are so excited that Sophie and Mila can be part of this special day, and we look forward to celebrating all of their future milestones with them!
Janel King

Janel ("Nellie") is Jenny's ("Gump") longest friend. They met riding horses in Jamul when they were young teenagers (about 25 years ago), and spent years tearing through the back country on their horses (Cricket for Janel) and (Promise for Jenny). Their friendship has withstood middle school, high school, and beyond, and no matter where they are or what they are doing, Nellie and Gump will always be life long friends.
Anne Cong-Huyen

Anne and Jenny met freshman year of UCSD in the dorms nearly 20 years ago. They initially bonded over Costco frozen chimichangas, video games, and movies, but their friendship has evolved into one of respect and loyalty over the years. Anne and her husband, Steve, were the first of Jenny's friends to meet Geoff and gave the stamp of approval at that time. Jenny could not imagine getting married without Anne standing by her side.
Stacy Ravnikar

Stacy and Jenny met 10 years ago and hit it off right away! They’ve been by each other’s side through thick and thin ever since! Stacy also gets all (or most) of the credit for this marriage since she set Jenny and Geoff up! Thanks Stacy!!!
Amber Hulbert

Jenny met Amber through Geoff and his groomsman, George (who is Ambers husband), but quickly realized that she was going to keep Amber forever! Jenny and Amber have spent many nights enjoying wine, and watching Disney movies (specifically Enchanted) with Amber’s and George’s little girl, Abby Rae (who is the flower girl).
Nicole Shidler Sampson

Nicole ("Nicki") is Geoff's sister and Jenny could not ask for a better future sister-in-law! When Jenny and Geoff first met, Geoff said that Jenny reminded him of Nicki. It did not take long to see why -- both Jenny and Nicki are the oldest in their families (with little brothers), both went to UCSD, and are over-achieving "doctors" (Nicki has a PhD and Jenny has a JD). They clicked right away and Jenny can't wait to part of the family!
Chris Hamm

Chris and Geoff became friends in middle school, and their friendship has withstood the sands of time - 34 years to be exact! Like Geoff, Chris also enjoys surfing and has joined Geoff, Jeff and Drew on numerous surf trips. Jenny thinks that Chris is pretty protective of Geoff - the first time Jenny met Chris, he asked her what her intentions were with respect to Geoff. They had only been dating for a couple of months at that point :) But Jenny thought that it was a good thing that Geoff had/has such a wonderful friend! Geoff stood up with Chris when he married his beautiful wife, Lisa, and Geoff is thrilled that Chris will be by his side when he marries Jenny!

Jenny fondly refers to Jeff (with a J) as Geoff's (with a G) "other girlfriend." Early in their relationship, Jenny would tease Geoff about texting "his other girlfriend" and 9 out of 10 times, it was Jeff. Jeff and Geoff have a very close relationship. They share the love surfing and have spent years traveling in Mexico and Central/South America on surf trips. They also love craft brew and sports. Although the have the same name, they are different enough to complement each other well and support each other. We are so excited that Jeff will be up there besides Geoff on our big day!
Drew Weddle

Surfing brought Geoff and Drew together about 22 years ago. They have had countless adventures together during that time. From surfing trips to “poo canyon” in Mexico, these two are lifelong friends whose friendship has withstood life’s ups and downs.
George Hulbert

Geoff and George have been friends for over 20 years. They met while teaching together in Long Beach, and bonded over their rivalry between the yucks (aka the Ducks) and Kings (just so everyone is clear, the Kings have won 2 cups - the ducks... not so much). George and his wife amber (bridesmaid) and their daughter Abby were the first of geoffs friends that Jenny met. They’ve all been friends ever since. George is frequently hanging out with geoff in the “man cave” watching hockey and enjoying the finer beers out there.
Paul Lugo
Groomsman
Geoff and Paul met while surfing at Bolsa Chica (between lifeguard towers 17-18) and hit it off right away. They have a ton in common and enjoy hanging out together. They’ve hit the waves together and have gone on camping trips down to baja. Jenny and Paul’s wife, Julie, also quickly hit it off and the four enjoy getting together for good times.
