There are also a bunch of places that will lead tours, which can be a ton of fun! I (Jenny) have done a kayak tour through the kelp beds in nearby Laguna, and enjoyed it immensely. I am also an avid SUPer. The weather will be great in August to be on the water!

If anyone wants to do some wine tasting, you can head out to Temecula, which is about an hour to an hour and a half east of Dana Point. Some of our favorite wineries (and by "our" we mean Jenny who is the wino) are, Wiens, South Coast, Bel Vino, and Ponte. Check them out!
San Diego is only about 1.5 hours south of Dana Point. It is great for a day trip or to tack on as a longer trip. Jenny was born and raised in SD so please let her know if you need some ideas. Also, Nicki (Geoff's sister) spent many years in SD so she is a great resource as well!
